Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
Welcome to Optimystic. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Mystic Managed, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Optimystic,” “we,” “us”), and apply to your use of optimysticapp.com and our app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Optimystic
You must be at least 13 years old to use Optimystic. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your sign-in details secure.
2. Not medical or professional advice
Optimystic offers content for spiritual exploration, reflection, and personal growth. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Always listen to your body and seek professional help for health or mental-health concerns.
Some practices, such as breathwork or movement, may not be suitable for everyone. Take part at your own discretion and stop if anything feels uncomfortable. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, contact your local emergency services.
3. Your account
Please keep your account information accurate and do not share your account with others. You are responsible for activity on your account. Let us know right away at hello@optimysticapp.com if you suspect someone else has accessed it.
4. Subscriptions and payments
- Some features require a paid subscription. Prices and plan details are shown before you purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Founding Member pricing is available to a limited number of members and is a lifetime rate: it will not increase for as long as that membership remains active, including if our standard prices change. If a Founding Membership is canceled or lapses, the founding rate ends and cannot be restored.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.
- The first month of every membership is a trial. Your trial fee is your first payment (one month's fee for monthly plans, or the annual fee for annual plans) and is non-refundable. If you cancel during your trial, you may choose to have Optimystic donate your trial fee to one of the charitable organizations shown in the app. Optimystic makes the donation on your behalf, so you will not receive a tax receipt.
- If we change subscription prices (other than Founding Member pricing), we will tell you in advance, and the new price will apply from your next billing period.
5. Community guidelines
Optimystic is a space for curiosity and respect across many traditions. When you take part, please:
- Treat others, their beliefs, and their paths with respect.
- Not harass, threaten, discriminate against, or demean anyone.
- Not post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Not share other people's personal information without their permission.
- Not misuse the Service, such as trying to access other accounts, disrupt the app, or copy content at scale.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these guidelines.
6. Your content
You own what you write, such as your reflections and profile details. You give Optimystic permission to store and display it as needed to provide the Service to you (for example, showing your reflections back to you, or showing what you choose to share in community spaces). Your private reflections are not shared publicly.
7. Practitioners and their content
Sessions and guidance on Optimystic are created by independent practitioners. Practitioner profiles and content are reviewed by our team before they are published, but the views and practices shared are the practitioners' own.
Practitioners who submit content confirm that they have the right to share it, and they give Optimystic permission to host, display, and distribute it within the Service. Additional agreements between Optimystic and practitioners may also apply.
8. Our content and brand
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and the Optimystic name and logo, belongs to Optimystic or its licensors. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute content without permission.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Optimystic and delete your account at any time from your profile page using “Delete my account,” which also cancels any active subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or other members.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your particular needs, or about any outcome from using it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Optimystic will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Optimystic after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
